Subsidized Spay/Neuter

Rusty is up for adoption! Click on his photo for more info.Did you know that in a single dog's lifetime, he and his offspring are capable of producing 60,000 dogs? With millions of pets euthanized each year due to overpopulation, sterilizing your pet is the honorable, responsible choice.

We want to help all guardians of pit bull breeds and pit bull mixes keep their dogs safe and healthy.  Starting with our hometown - STAMFORD, CT - we've created the SNIP program to provide essential services at a low, subsidized cost for qualifying guardians.  We hope to open this offer to residents outside of Stamford, CT again soon.  Until then, we do offer referrals for subsidized spay/neuter services to qualifying pet guardians of any pet, no matter the breed, and regardless of location of residence.

Qualifying guardians are eligible to the following services on a sliding-scale basis:

1.  spay/neuter surgery
2.  vaccinations
3.  micro-chipping

If you are in need of spaying/neutering, vaccinating, and/or micro-chipping your pet, please fill out an application.  We'll get back to you to set up an appointment and to discuss which subsidization level you qualify for.  Sorry, this program is not yet available to rescue organizations, shelters or foster homes.
