No Kill Advocacy

"If every animal shelter in the United States embraced the No Kill philosophy and the programs and services that make it a reality, we would save over four million dogs and cats who are scheduled to die in shelters this year, and the year after that. It is not an impossible dream." ~ Nathan Winograd

AMERICA’S FAVORITE ANIMAL SHELTER CONTEST has ended. Although we did not finish as the first place shelter, we did finish as shelter #14 with 1,707 votes. We crept up in the counts during the last few days. And because we placed #16 in top recruiters Stamford Animal Shelter qualified to receive a $50 gift certificate for our shelter animals. Special note: Recently we learned that placing #14 in the top shelter counts earned us a $500.00 donation prize for the shelter. Thanks for voting. The shelter and the animals appreciate it.
